Time: 7:00 PM  Dave the Horn Guy is Dave Enns, a musician’s musician and a guy with a lot of horns.
His innovative spirit and musical genius have led him to perform all over the country, from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to major sporting event half time shows and national corporate events. Enns holds multiple music degrees. At 34, his full time musical efforts have found him to be a Billboard recognized songwriter, a studio musician, an orchestrater of over 200 songs, a regular giggin’ trombone/piano player, singer, and a founder/producer of an award-winning urban acappella group. He’s combined these experiences with 25 chromatically tuned bulb-horns, custom made from a top-of-the-line German horn maker to create “Dave the Horn Guy.” Area cub scouts and boy scouts will be honored throughout the night with a fun filled evening capped off with a campout in the outfield of the Corn Crib. |

Time: 5:00 PM Don't miss the "Battle of the Bravest" softball game between the Town of Normal Firefighters and City of Bloomington Firefighters! Gates open at 1:30 PM with the softball game starting at 2:00 PM. Join the CornBelters in a fun filled night of fellowship with your friends, family, and fellow church members. The night will be capped off with a live concert by nationally acclaimed recording artist Danny Oertli. Danny Oertli is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and author, encouraging audiences worldwide for more than 17 years with stories of God’s faithfulness. Combining incredibly inventive guitar work with stirring songwriting, Danny has become a favorite for many ministries such as Billy Graham, Focus On the Family, Dare2Share, Familylife, and Compassion International. Danny’s most recent project, Glimpses, is a live DVD/CD featuring some of his most requested songs as well as some new tunes. Time: 7:00 PM Join us tonight as we honor our present, past, and future American heroes during our First Annual Armed Forces Tribute night. The first 1,000 kids through the gates of the Corn Crib will receive the official 2010 Normal CornBelters team baseball card set. sponsored by Disabled American Veterans. Every Monday fans receive bingo cards as they enter the park and every space on their card contains a unique baseball event (double play, homerun, strikeout looking, etc.) As events take shape on the field, fans take action at their seats - checking off events in a bid to complete their card. Great prizes will be given to the first people to complete their cards for a "BINGO!" The Houchin Family Alpacas also return to the Corn Crib tonight! Come visit these beautiful creatures down the third base side of the concourse next to the McDonald's & Little Jewels Kids Zone. |
